At Word and Phrase, my goal is to help you market your business.

So what does that really mean?

At its core, marketing is about finding people and getting to know them. Showing them how you can help them. It's about more than money--it's about sharing the work you're passionate about. That's what I help you communicate.

You usually see things from your point of view, not the customer's. (And that's as it should be.) That's where I come in; I show you what your target client is seeing in your marketing materials, and help you make them more effective.

I've trained under copywriting greats Steve Slaunwhite and Chris Marlow, and earned a Master's degree in linguistics at Yale University. I've been a lifelong student of language, psychology, and marketing. But most important for you: I help you get results.

From Web sites to grant proposals, I've helped people market themselves successfully for many years. I'd like to help you too.
